Well the RMR season opener finished in a flurry... literally! As the finals rolled around on Sunday, so did a storm front and dumped a ton of snow making visibilty on the track extremely difficult for the racers. Our newest member of the HSS team, Bobby "The Rage" LePage fired a warning shot out to the RMR Pro class that he will be making an impact in the 2009-2010 points chase and did so with a win in the Pro Super Stock final. Defending RMR Pro champion Danny Poirier made it a one-two Hulten Speed Sports finish by scoring the runner-up finish. The HSS Pro duo podium'd again in the Pro Open final finishing 2 and 3 quickly establishing Hulten Speed Sports as a team to be reckoned with in 2010! HSS's Sport racer is again Jake Scott who advanced from the Junior ranks last season. Jake will be running in the Sport Super Stock 600 classes on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as the Sport Stock 600 class each event. Jake was perfect in qualifying for all his classes, but was stuck with some bum luck in the finals finishing third in all three of his finals. Despite disappointing finals, Jake will be the rabbit that the class will be chasing this season for sure. This team is jelling early and is running like a top!
